Adsense recently updates their program policies for the Adsense Publishers. Here are some of the most important things to remember in the newly updated TOS. We should put in mind that linking to sites that is against the Adsense TOS is strictly prohibited. Blending of Adsense ads so that it will not be an obvious "Ad" anymore is also prohibited.

Program policies specially Adsense TOS is really important to adhere. All of our websites and blogs should be in compliance with all the program policies, or else, it's our doomsday. A lot of us depends on Adsense as the primary source of income, food for our family, daily basic needs, tuition for children, house rent, electricity bill, water bill, and other miscellaneous expenses in our daily lives. Will you let this income stream vanish in a instant? I bet you won't. So let's update our websites and impement this new rules so that we can be safe from being disabled and banned from the world's no.1 online advertising company, Google Adsense.

Absolutely NO! Have you read the Section 7 of Google Adsense TOS? It states that:

Confidentiality. You agree not to disclose Google Confidential Information without Google's prior written consent. "Google Confidential Information" includes without limitation: (a) all Google software, technology, programming, specifications, materials, guidelines and documentation relating to the Program; (b) click-through rates or other statistics relating to Site performance in the Program provided to You by Google; and (c) any other information designated in writing by Google as "Confidential" or an equivalent designation. However, You may accurately disclose the amount of Google’s gross payments to You pursuant to the Program. Google Confidential Information does not include information that has become publicly known through no breach by You or Google, or information that has been (i) independently developed without access to Google Confidential Information, as evidenced in writing; (ii) rightfully received by You from a third party; or (iii) required to be disclosed by law or by a governmental authority.

So, mr. or ms. anonymous, read first, before posting a comment that showing a print screen of my gross income from Adsense will drive me to havoc. okey??????? :P

So, if anyone out there whose afraid to brag and post their Adsense income to their blog, don't be afraid to. If your not sure about the Adsense laws, read the Adsense TOS first! I know 99% are not reading the TOS before registering to the program. Read first before you judge! :P

I ranked 1 on Google Search Results for the keyword "DOST scholars". Yey! after a year of link building and promoting my website for DOST-SEI scholars, I ranked 1 on the search results, as of this day. I hope this will be forever, but I think dost.gov.ph will regain the top spot one of these days. I'm just happy to be on top of 468,000 search results. It's a great achievement for an SEO Newbie like me, that's why I'm really proud of it.

Oh well, that's all for today. I can't think of something bloggable as of now.

If you are encountering the same problem as I do, then I can't help you, because I've never ever resolved this problem. If you set your CNAME alias and point it to ghs.google.com, even if you'll wait for one week for the domain to propagate, it won't work! Wah! You'll just waste time of waiting it to be live over the world wide web, it really don't work! Same with my blogger account, you have an option to publish your posts in your custom domain, but it doesn't really work at all. Or maybe, my settings are wrong, but I have verified it to GoDaddy that my Total DNS Control settings are right, maybe the problem is with Google's side.

I have submitted a support request to Google but they don't bother to reply at all. I think their very busy developing their new apps, and won't waste time to entertain this newbie problem. I hope somebody made it work, and comment to this post, because I can't, I really really can't make it work.

It's been a week of waiting for my CNAME alias to propagate, maybe a redirection or SSH settings would be better. What's the catch? if I'll use CNAME to provide custom URL, it will still redirect to mail.google.com, so why don't use redirection with mask instead, diba?

iSEO, Image Search Engine Optimization, ako lang may gawa nyan.. la kasi me maisip.. pangit din kasi SEiO, ehdi iSEO nalang. Sobrang galing mag optimize ng Google ng mga images, pati mga website na may pangalan ko lang, or na visit ko lang, or naiwanan ng pangalan sa shoutbox or comment box nila ay na optimize din gamit ang pangalan ko. For example search mo sa Google Images ang name ko, "Jehzeel", or click HERE for the results. Lalabas yung face ko sa unang image results, pero yung iba hindi naman akin, mga website lang na na visit ko, bat kaya ganun? pati Search Results ng "Jehzeel Laurente" may nahalo ding ibang picture. Batet kaya? Di ko alam sobrang sensitive ng search engine nila, hehehe.. Pero astig parin kasi na optimize yung images ng site at blog ko. Weeeeeee!!! Sa search results din sa keyword na Laurente, nasa first page na ako. Dati nasa pinaka likod ako eh, kaya improving na ang search engine rankings ko ngayon. Sana patuloy na tong SEO career ko, pati PHP career, XHTML career, Graphic Designing Career, at lahat ng careers! ang saya talaga maging isang Newbie Web Developer, patuloy na naiimprove ko skills ko day by day. Dati WYSIWYG software lang gamit ko, ngayon pwede na notepad at ultraedit sa pagawa ng Cutting Edge web layouts at web scripts! Astig diba? Tiyaga lang ang puhunan... Pag may trabaho, pero pag walang trabaho, mahirap matuto sa internet cafe, kasi per hour ang bayad, mas maganda sa office. hehehehe... :). At pahabol din pala, tumaas na ranking ko sa keyword na "Laurente" for Google Search Results, I ranked 5th out of 80,600 search results for Laurente. Kaya ang saya ng SEO. Pero, it's really cool parin, kala ko totoo lahat sinasabi ng Google eh, naalala ko April Fool's Day pala kahapon, ngayon ko lang din to nabasa, late ako ng isang araw! waaahh!! Pero astig talaga to, parang totoo. Matatawa ka lang kasi bakit sa Toilet pa ilalagay, ang weird talaga, pero mapapaniwala ka talaga pag nag google ka tapos kinlick mo yung link sa baba ng search engine nila. Hehehe..
